SDS max Carbide bits use the SDS max drive system for fast bit changes and efficient power transfer from the hammer to the bit. Bits over 9/16 in. (5/8 in.) use the highest quality Carbide and add two extra Carbide nibs for a total of four cutting edges. Those four cutting edges speed up drilling by pulverizing more concrete, and they also make a rounder hole than two cutter bits. The flutes clear concrete dust quickly from deep holes, speeding up drill rates. Use only in SDS max drive hammers. SDS max bits are also available in metric sizes. One per package.
