These AR/FR CAT. 1 Class 2 High Visibility Safety Vests are engineered to carry more. The Arc-Rated and Flame-Resistant Vest has ten pockets, including pen pockets, a chest pocket with closure, and an internal pocket, for easy access to essential items on the job. A quick internal size adjustment gives the yellow safety vest a better fit, and a durable pass-through slit accommodates fall protection gear. These class 2 vests comply with NFPA 2112 for protection against flash fires and arc flash hazards. Lightweight AR/FR WESTEX DH by Miliken DH material adds comfort when the vest is worn as part of a complete AR/FR garment system and is rated to an ATPV of 5.7 cal./cm². High visibility reflective safety vests are required when working around traffic going 25 MPH or around heavy machinery.
