The Milwaukee 38-Piece SAE Tap & Die PACKOUT Set combines precision-machined threading accessories with the most versatile Hex-LOK 2-in-1 Handle for the most common applications. It contains 17 straight-flute taps and 17 1" hex dies with long-lasting laser-etched sizing for the clearest markings, plus a protective Black Oxide coating for corrosion resistance. Because it accepts both 1" hex dies and the Milwaukee tap collet, the Hex-LOK 2-in-1 Handle brings internal and external threading together in one handle. Its ergonomic grip is designed for ultimate comfort while cutting threads. All-metal construction allows tool-free die and tap collet changes and is optimized for maximum balance and control during threading. The square shank on the Plug Taps fits all standard tap handles or tap wrenches and is designed for through-hole threading. The 1" hex shape of the Hex Dies fits the Hex-LOK 2-in-1 Handle as well as all standard 1" Hex Die stocks. The Taps and Dies are made for cutting threads in the most common metal applications, including brass, aluminum, mild steel, and more. For best results, use with cutting fluid. Everything is organized in a PACKOUT Low-Profile Compact Organizer with a removable storage tray for versatile storage.
